Day 6—The Road to
the Nuptials
Dear Brimley,
Much like you, we had a “stay-at-home” day today. But we
were hard at work (that is not to say you were not hard at work, but we all
know you do enjoy extended leisure moments on all of the Manor furniture….).
I was certainly dutiful in my exercise regimen. That robot
monster-like contraption I took a picture of is called an “elliptical” machine.
Trust me, Brimley, this is not for the likes of you. After thirty minutes, my
legs are all wobbly and I am “glowing” profusely.
Mistress Carly and I peeled about 400,000 uncooperative
boiled eggs. That was a tedious affair and I felt like you needed to see
documentation regarding that event. The other food photograph is the chili
which is being prepared for the crowd who will appear on Friday…some will be
weary travelers and some friends who are coming to help prepare for the wedding
festivities.
The last picture I am including is Father Daniel who worked
with Jay to install a ceiling fan for the young couple’s bathroom. He is a
handy man to be sure. I think I will keep him.
Mistress Carly sends her fondest regards to her “Mr. Kitty.”
